Podium teams across our network supported charity SUDEP Action by promoting meeting room bookings and donating a portion of the booking revenue to this worthwhile charity. We were delighted to donate over £2000 to this incredibly worthy cause.
SUDEP Action is the only UK charity specialised in supporting and involving people bereaved by epilepsy.
Their services include bereavement support, counselling, help with understanding the inquest process and in collaboration with UK research teams, the involvement of bereaved families and professionals in research through the Epilepsy Deaths Register.
Katie Vale, fundraising manager for SUDEP Action commented, “thank you so very much for the incredible support of SUDEP Action. It was very kind of you and your team to support SUDEP Action with the fundraising initiative at Podium during the month of August through donating a proportion of your meeting room revenue.
£2,220.55 is a tremendous total and will greatly help to provide free advocacy and support for people who have lost someone to epilepsy as well as fund research, tools, and awareness so that lives can be saved.”
