What Clients Love About Cambridge House

The City of Bath is famous worldwide for its imposing architecture and Roman remains. In addition to being a World Heritage Site, Bath is a vibrant city with over 40 museums, good restaurants, quality shopping and theatres.  This thriving university city boasts a diverse and robust economy, with a mix of industries such as tourism, education, healthcare, publishing, software development, and creative industries.  Employment opportunities are good and quality of life is excellent with green spaces, low crime and a strong sense of community.

The area has much to offer for businesses, but with all the properties available in this beautiful city, what draws clients to Cambridge House?

Cambridge House

1 – Our fabulous roof terrace

Cambridge House’s secret weapon! Even in colder weather, this area is well used by clients enjoying some fresh air or having an impromptu al fresco meeting.  This fabulous outdoor space comes into its own in the summer months when you can enjoy the sunshine with panoramic views over the Bath skyline.

2 – Our Team

The Cambridge House team place clients’ needs as top priority, bending over backwards to accommodate last minute meeting requests, office moves, overflow office space and welcoming all their visitors.  They go above and beyond to make the client experience seamless, from viewing, to move in and beyond, George and her team make it their mission to create a warm and hospitable environment.  Client Alan Reidy of Sopra Steria says, “We couldn’t be more thrilled with Podium Space! Their combination of reliable service and warm hospitality is truly unparalleled. From the moment we started our tenure with them, we have been made to feel like part of the family.  The staff are not only professional but also very friendly. Nothing is ever too much, and they are always ready to assist with our technical and logistical requirements. The level of pride and care that Podium Space put in means that we can focus fully on our customers”.

3 – Phone Booths

With few of us having the luxury of our own office, finding a quiet space to make a distraction free phone call can be impossible.  Cambridge House’s phone booths are located throughout the building and are a godsend for those in a team office.

4 – Our Value Adds

At Podium an office is so much more than a desk and an internet connection.  Onsite showers with towel service, barista style coffee, daily light breakfasts, lunchtime snacks on certain days, cake Friday and our beer fridge all make Podium so much more than a place to work.  Not forgetting the monthly Pizza Tuesday which gets everyone into the office!  Alex and his team are big fans; “The facilities on offer at Cambridge House are exceptional, and our team are delighted to be able to make use of the endless tea and coffee. The wide array of complimentary snacks on offer is a delightful touch that adds an extra layer of comfort to the workday, and ensures we are fully energised throughout the day!”

5 – Top Notch Bars, Restaurants and Cafes

Bath is full of high quality independent establishments to quench your thirst or enjoy a bite to eat, but here’s a round up of our favourites:

Juno Bar & Kitchen – on the doorstep of Cambridge House and the home of pizza, craft beer and pool!

The Grapes – more than just a pub, with art classes and more in their private upstairs space, winner of Best Urban Pub 2022 in the Great British Pub Awards

Mokoko – the Podium team all agree, this is the best coffee and cake in town and all cakes and bread are baked in house

Yak Yeti Yak – if you’ve never tried Nepalese cuisine this is the place to go. Delicious!  And have just won the Bath Life Restaurant of the Year 2023!

Walcot House – for a special lunch or dinner this is our top pick with regular special events such as Wine & Supper Clubs

Bread and Jam – our number one spot for after work cocktails and good vibes in the basement beneath Walcot House

6 – Great Transport Options

However you choose to get to work, Cambridge House fits the bill.  It’s a 4 minute walk from the bus and train stations, there’s a large public car park just a 2 minute walk away, and if you like to run or cycle in, you can make use of the secure bike storage and onsite showers.

Cambridge House clients agree:

“We’ve only been at Cambridge House a short while, but in that time, George and the team have made us feel very welcome. From facilitating an effortless move into the space to assisting us with any queries we have had, such as internet connections to furnishing installations, the team have gone above and beyond every step of the way. The free toasties are an added bonus! If you’re looking to move in to a new space, then we couldn’t recommend Cambridge House highly enough.”

Jake Ward – Support Consultant, Fitronics

“It’s been good to come back to a working environment after being in the home office, my productivity has increased 100%! I’ve enjoyed being at Cambridge House, the support teams are super helpful and friendly. The office facilities have been exceptional and by far the best I have seen in Bath.”
